In 2008 we began construction on EWF’s Family Life Center. Unfortunately, we kept running into problem after problem until finally construction grounded to a halt because of lack of funds. We were 93% complete and went back to the bank. The bank kept stalling until finally they decided not to not loan us the additional money but to call the loan. Now we are really in a twixt. We have to complete our building or lose our property.

Years ago God showed us that Everlasting Word of Faith was not to be the traditional church. We were to actively serve all people in the community in which we live. We were to be, not only a worship center but, a safe haven for children and families in need. Our goal and mission was to affect positive change in the lives of the people we serve. In doing so, we would help them to become productive members of the society in which they lived. Today that mission is in jeopardy.

We need you to help us today by participating in Project “Dream” with us. Project “Dream” is about helping Everlasting Word of Faith keep its doors open. The bank has decided not to loan us the remaining construction cost of $120,000. However, Followers of God, a Christian music group, has partnered with Pastor Lofton in an effort to raise the additional funds needed to complete the Family Life Center. The group is giving 100% of all royalties from online sales of their song “Dream” a tribute to Dr. King.

I’m listening to 102 Gospel via the web and I just heard a song that I really liked and would like to hear again but when i go to the history all I’ve gotten from it is the R&B history,so if some one from the station by chance read this the song played around/ between 8:40 and 8:50 am on 6/18 and its hook was ” thats why I love him like I do”. Also it had what some would call a Hip Hop beat to it. So if anyone knows the song Please post comments because I loved it and would like to find the cd of the artist. Let the Lord God Be Praised. I first tuned into this station last night while I was studying on my laptop and I did not want to turn it off. It blessed me so very much with a such a variety of various artist. The biggest impression it made was it wasn’t a constant repeat of the the popular songs that are out. While I do have an appreciation for the newer music, some stations play those cuts until you just get tired of hearing them. Hence the reason I went searching in the first place.
